Proper Horse Care and Treatment

As my affairs and knowledge involving horses advance, I have seen and rated riding facilities almost all over the country especially North Carolina. I want to express my distress on horse shelters that are merely shed and are treated as storage space. Have you been on a barn were horses are so skinny, hardly fed, no enough room and a mess? These ponies and stallions need proper aid, nursing, affection and care. I am glad to be have found a well run and orderly facility that have exceeded my expectations.
Luxurious barns with individual tack/feed rooms, covered porches, stalls are cleaned daily, automatic waterers in stalls, wash area, bathroom, 12x12 stall windows and has care giver on-site including night checks. I am an animal lover especially horses. They mean a lot to me since I grew up with brothers who are on this profession. These lovely creatures deserve our love and respect. I want to share this to everyone who feels the same way. For pictures and other information, click here.

Green: To an earth friendly home

Living in the 21st century and witnessing this generation is a total blessing for anybody. Along with all the new technologies, conveniences, clever inventions and versatile people; conscious and concern individuals continuously increases as well. And the development of green homes has gone mainstream. Buyers these days are becoming smarter and more mindful of their environment. They prefer to make a more informed decision when it comes to choosing, building, renovating or shopping for homes. Besides, eco friendly homes comprises with so much benefits:
Save energy. Save money. – As a witness to the vast rise in fuel prices in the past gives resident buyers enough reason to pick eco homes these days. We need to find our own source of power. Solar maybe a little expensive to install but when you’ve exhaust all means to conserve energy then you will be looking at finding your own energy means/source. Others use precise and well thought of designs and placing of windows to harvest enough light from the sun to the house and rooms.
Improving indoor air quality – According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, indoor air can be 2-5 times more polluted that outdoor air. This is mostly due to the harmful chemical that can be found from your home surroundings such as: paints, stains, glue and other furniture with volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Mechanical Ventilation System on your home is the over-all solution to this setback. There are materials and delicate construction that promotes proper ventilation that will keep clean and warm or cold air intact within homes. On top of that, you might want to buy “low VOC” coats, eco friendly furniture and natural stains.
Prevent Deforestation – by purchasing eco friendly products like woods from certified wood harvesting sites; it will prevent illegal logging and global warming. Try bamboo.
You can help save the planet of your children’s children – how critical is earth now and how much more damage can we cause on generations to come? Your little contribution can lead to a bigger effect to our environment.
